As a coach, he brings a passion for helping others find and push their limits. Outside the gym, Kevin enjoys skiing at Mammoth, playing golf, and throwing down with the Underwater Torpedo League.
Coach Cat Ferrario
CF-L1
Hi everyone! I'm Caterina—born and raised in Italy so sorry about the accent lol. My fitness journey started back in college where I played rugby. Yes, that’s where my competitiveness comes from hehe. Since then, CrossFit has been that place of family and hard work. I’ve been doing it for 5 years now. I’m currently pursuing a career as a firefighter, and coaching feels like the perfect way to give back to the community that’s helped me get strong. I absolutely love deadlifts (and fully admit to hating squats), but I’m working toward joining the 200lb squat club! I’m especially looking forward to building my coaching skills as I get ready to move to Okinawa—can’t wait to train, learn, and grow with all of you.
Coach Ashley Specht
Ashley is a former competitive swimmer and team swim coach, and she has been devoted to functional fitness since 2018. Her favorite aspect of coaching is helping students of all abilities, from the newest beginners to the most experienced, veteran athletes, to learn and grow through the challenge of expanding their comfort zones. Ashley is an ardent believer in decaf coffee, loves the color eggplant purple, and hates when others squeeze toothpaste tubes from the middle (ew!). She hopes to one day go on a National Geographic tour, swim with whales, and hand stand walk on parallettes, although probably not all on the same day.
